On Wednesday November 5th 2014 at the Barnabas Health Ambulatory Care Center The Partnership for Maternal and Child Health of Northern New Jersey is sponsoring a educational session for  Understanding Postpartum Psychosis and How to Respond in a Psychiatric Emergency.

Skill Building Session Overview

The goal of this educational session is to identify signs and symptoms of Postpartum Psychosis, discuss the role of screening in a psychiatric emergency, describe treatment for postpartum psychosis with a focus on safety for the mother and infant and to become familiar with support services available in New Jersey for women suffering from postpartum psychosis.

Target Audience

Nurses, Social Workers and professionals working with postpartum women.
